- bootlin.com Boot Linux a binary directly from the CDROM. On most
- systems this program will not work and you'll get a
- message like "linux loaded too high." Instead of using
- this program, make a boot floppy with rawrite.exe and
- bootflpy.3in or booflpy.5in, and then boot from that
- floppy disk.
-
- bootflpy.3in Binary image of 3.5 inch and 5.25 inch boot floppies.
- bootflpy.5in
-
- manual This directory contains the LGX manual in texinfo, dvi,
- and postscript formats.
-
- rawrite.exe DOS program useful for creating boot floppies.
- Copy the file "bootflpy.bin" onto a floppy diskette to
- make a boot diskette. This works for both 3.5" and
- 5.25" diskettes.
-
- runlinux.bat Batch file that boots the Linux kernel from the CDROM
- (in lieu of using a boot floppy). The batch file
- simply says "bootlin bootflpy.bin". This facility
- is old and probably doesn't work. Boot from the
- boot floppy instead.
